Niyola Cancer Care Foundation (NCCF) as Part of it’s Advocacy Campaign and Partnership with Relevant Stakeholders in line with United Nations SDG Goal 17 was engaged by Dr (Mrs) Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu a Medical Practitioner herself at Lagos House Alausa, yesterday, as we shared the organisation Action Plans for the year 2020.

Consequently, we seek Collaborative support from the state Government and Solicited for more robust Engagement and Englightment as it relates to Colorectal Cancer which according to Statistics is the 4th Leading Cause of Death arising from Cancer.

Moreso, it was agreed by Niola Team and the 1st Lady that our Primary Health Centers need to be well equipped and function effectively and efficiently. It was an Inspiring moment as the Wife of the Governor Remarked that ” She has been keenly monitoring the activities of the organisation and very impressed with the Positive Impacts and the Giant Strides being made by Niola Cancer Care Foundation “. Responding further, the First Lady assured Niola Cancer Care Foundation Team, that the State Government has put measures in place to resuscitate the State Primary Health Care centers located within the Local Government Area and the LCDA’s which will include Screening of Breast and Cervical cancer as We hope Colorectal Cancer screening would be included soon.
